RE-WATER on October 21st and 22nd, 2024 in the Braunschweig House of Science
Status of water reuse in Germany – 1 year of EU regulation on water reuse
UPDATE: Great interest in our REWATER event. Interesting lectures, networking and discussions among experts. In between, a cool walking act provided variety. It continues this morning!
Due to increasing concern about water as a resource, the topic of water reuse is becoming more and more important. With the EU regulation on water reuse (EU 2020/741), which was passed in 2020 and came into force in 2023, the topic has reached a new dimension across the EU and Germany. What could be more obvious than reviving an established conference on the topic?
Re-Water is taking place in Braunschweig for the 7th time. The Braunschweig Wastewater Association and the Institute for Urban Water Management at the Technical University of Braunschweig as organizers are pleased to be able to welcome guests from politics, science and practice.
With its long tradition of water reuse, Braunschweig is predestined as a venue. Here, controversial positions meet many years of experience in a broad professional discourse. With this year’s Re-Water we want to exchange ideas with both experienced and new players in this topic and draw an initial conclusion.
